The Penthouse Apartment is on Main Street, downtown Utila, the top floor of the Mango Tree Building (above the Gelateria and Internet Cafe) . This entire third floor use to be the Wine Shop and offices. Now there is a small entry bedroom (twin bed, desk and storage) and wet bar. Inside is a queen bed, cable TV, stereo system, Honduran wood table with six chairs, a nice kitchenette with refrigerator and every appliance you can think of (microwave, toaster oven, electric grill, sandwich grill, etc. There is a nice double bed behind a bamboo curtain. This is a large, spacey apartment with lovely views and very comfortable. There are island and Central American decorations. The Penthouse Apartment is centrally located, across the street from a dive shop, CocoLoco and super restaurants. It is truly up in the top of a Mango Tree, like a Penthouse treehouse with a great bay view.
